“Save a First Responder”
The Firefighters & EMS Foundation (FEF) is the proud sponsor of the “Save a First Responder” program, which posts up to a $10,000 reward for public information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person who commits arson or any other criminal act which results in the line of duty death of a Firefighter or EMS personnel.
“Protect the Children Taskforce”
The “Protect the Children Task Force” is a multi faceted child safety initiative funded by the FEF to address the serious increase of missing and exploited children nationwide. The program will distribute free child fingerprint/DNA kits, post periodic rewards on missing children and educate the public in helping to identify suspected child abuse.
The Firefighters & EMS Foundation recently joined “Project Pedophile” in order to address the serious increase of pedophile activity on the Internet. The program is being coordinated with several law enforcement agencies. The project will reward any child with a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any pedophile victimizing children on the internet.
